Overview

The 2023 Dalwhinnie Moonambel Chardonnay is a high-altitude Pyrenees white from one of Victoria's most iconic estates. Grown near Moonambel, this Chardonnay reflects Dalwhinnie's cool nights, remote vineyard setting and ability to produce wines with both richness and tension.

Vintage & Winemaking

Dalwhinnie sits high in the Pyrenees at 595 metres above sea level, with vines grown in a natural amphitheatre of ancient soils. The estate is known for non-irrigated vineyards, hand harvesting and a focus on wines of depth, structure and regional identity.

The 2023 Moonambel Chardonnay shows the estate's fuller, textural white wine style, with bright fruit intensity, oak influence and layered complexity balanced by energy and lift.
