In ’18, ownership of Domaine A passed from Peter Althaus, its long-term custodian, to Moorilla Estate. There were no changes to existing employees, with Conor van der Reest continuing as winemaker, albeit flying solo from the ’18 vintage after working closely with Peter for many years prior. Both brands are now owned by philanthropist and collector David Walsh of Mona, Australia’s largest private museum. A newly refurbished cellar door/tasting room opened in '22. -HALLIDAY TEAM
