Overview

The 2022 Dalwhinnie Eagle Series Shiraz is a flagship cool-climate red from one of Victoria's most iconic producers. Grown high in the Pyrenees at Moonambel, Dalwhinnie is known for brooding, elegant Shiraz shaped by ancient soils, cool steady nights and a naturally amphitheatre-like vineyard site.

Vintage & Winemaking

Dalwhinnie sits at 595 metres above sea level, making it the highest and most remote vineyard in the Pyrenees. The vineyard is non-irrigated and operated on strong organic viticultural principles, with fruit hand harvested and vines cane-pruned by hand.

The Eagle Series represents the estate's most serious Shiraz expression, built around depth, concentration and long-term ageing potential while retaining the elegance and structure that define Dalwhinnie's high-altitude Pyrenees style.
