Overview

The 2013 Dalwhinnie Moonambel Shiraz is a mature-release Pyrenees red from one of Victoria's most iconic high-altitude estates. With Halliday's 96-point acclaim and long cellaring potential, it shows the depth, structure and savoury elegance that define Dalwhinnie's Moonambel Shiraz.

Vintage & Winemaking

Dalwhinnie's Moonambel vineyard sits at 595 metres above sea level in the Pyrenees, with ancient soils, cool steady nights and a remote amphitheatre-like site. These conditions help produce Shiraz with dark fruit, spice, fine tannins and long ageing capacity.

The 2013 release is a structured and cellar-worthy expression of Dalwhinnie Shiraz, built around deep black fruit, savoury spice and firm cedar-toned tannins.
