Collection: HENTLEY FARM

Keith and Alison Hentschke purchased Hentley Farm in '97, as a mixed farming property with an old vineyard. Keith studied agricultural science at Roseworthy, later adding an MBA. During the '90s he had a senior production role with Orlando, before moving on to manage Fabal, one of Australia’s largest vineyard management companies. Establishing a great vineyard like Hentley Farm required all of his knowledge. A total of 38.2ha were planted between ’99 and '05. In ’04 an adjoining 6.5ha vineyard, christened Clos Otto, was acquired. Shiraz dominates the plantings, with 32.5ha. -JAMES HALLIDAY
