The Talisker 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky represents the pinnacle of the Talisker range, showcasing three decades of patient maturation and the unmistakable maritime character of the Isle of Skye. Produced at the iconic Talisker Distillery, this rare expression is released only in limited quantities and is highly sought after by collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.
Distilled on the rugged shores of the Isle of Skye, Talisker has been "Made by the Sea" since 1830. Thirty years of maturation in carefully selected oak casks have transformed the distillery's bold coastal spirit into an exceptionally refined and complex whisky, while retaining its signature notes of pepper, sea salt and gentle smoke. The modern annual releases are bottled at 49.5% ABV, preserving exceptional intensity and balance.
The nose is beautifully layered with ripe orchard fruits, vanilla, honey, seaweed and soft bonfire smoke, complemented by subtle waxy richness and maritime freshness. The palate is silky and remarkably elegant, revealing flavours of baked apple, pear, almond, creamy oak, sea salt and delicate peat smoke. Talisker's famous cracked black pepper note remains unmistakable but is beautifully integrated after three decades of maturation. The finish is exceptionally long and warming, leaving lingering impressions of maritime salinity, gentle smoke, white pepper and polished oak.
