Matured for 25 years in carefully selected American oak casks, the whisky develops extraordinary elegance without losing Talisker's signature pepper spice, sea salt and gentle peat smoke. Bottled at a natural strength of 45.8% ABV (recent annual releases), it delivers exceptional concentration, texture and balance.
The nose is beautifully expressive, revealing aromas of ripe pear, baked apple, citrus peel and honey layered with sea spray, polished oak, vanilla and delicate bonfire smoke. Hints of white pepper, dried herbs and mineral salinity add further complexity.
The palate is rich yet remarkably refined, opening with orchard fruits, malt sweetness and creamy vanilla before evolving into notes of salted caramel, toasted almonds, maritime minerals and Talisker's unmistakable cracked black pepper.
