McWilliam's Hanwood Estate 20 Year Old Rare Topaque is a luxurious Australian fortified wine presented in a gift box. Matured for at least 20 years and backed by six generations of fortified winemaking experience, it combines extraordinary richness with balancing acidity, freshness and refinement.

Winemaking and Maturation

The wine spends a minimum of 20 years maturing in oak casks of various sizes. Extended ageing creates its concentrated, complex character, while careful blending ensures consistent quality and style. It is fully matured and ready for immediate enjoyment.

Producer Tasting Notes

The palate is very luscious and complex with chocolate and malt being most apparent but hints of golden syrup also in the background. Although intense and luscious, balanced acidity and clean background spirit help to keep the wine fresh and vibrant.

Serving

Enjoy on its own or serve with dark chocolate tart and premium aged cheeses.
