But we’ve a good answer, Jameson IPA (Irish Pale Ale) – created for the craft beer lovers and the curious whiskey enjoyers. That you? You know what to do. Sip back and enjoy the marrying of crisp hoppy notes with smooth Irish whiskey. And what does Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition taste like you ask? Well, aren’t you in for a treat.

Caskmates® Series is the result of a collaboration with our neighbours at Eight D Brewing. They borrow our casks to age their fine Irish Pale Ale and we then finish our signature whiskey in these IPA seasoned oak barrels. The result? The classic smoothness of Jameson with notes of hops and a light, crisp finish.

Maturation: Finished in Eight Degrees Brewing IPA barrels

ABV: 40%

Colour: Bright straw

Nose: Floral nose with grapefruit and subtle orchard fruits, with a little toast, almond and delicate spice

Palate: Juicy-fresh fruitiness gives way to a smooth, barley-driven finish
