Overview
The 2026 Rieslingfreak No.12 Flaxman Valley Riesling is an ultra-refined dry Riesling from High Eden, one of Eden Valley's most highly regarded sub-regions. Sourced from three small family-owned vineyards, No.12 captures Flaxman Valley's intense perfume, crystalline acidity and fine mineral drive.
Vintage & Winemaking
The 2026 vintage began four weeks later than 2025, following delayed flowering, slow ripening and careful vineyard management. Although almost 90mm of rain fell in 48 hours shortly after harvest began, quick work from growers and the winery preserved fruit quality, producing Rieslings of purity, elegance and poise.
The 2026 No.12 was harvested from three small family-owned vineyards in Flaxman Valley, High Eden. For the first time, this release is an equal blend of all three vineyards, balancing the unique characters of each site while expressing the elegance and precision of the sub-region.

Finish
Laser-focused, crisp and persistent, with natural acidity bringing length, vibrancy and a sharpened steely edge.

Pairs well with white fish, burrata with chargrilled zucchini, rouget au fenouil, Sloppy Giuseppe pizza and Waterloo cheese.
Cellaring Potential
Enjoy young for perfume and precision, or cellar for further High Eden Riesling complexity.
