Overview

The 2026 Rieslingfreak No.10 Zenit Riesling is Rieslingfreak's ultimate multi-regional blend, produced only in minute amounts from exceptional vintages. Blending 80% Eden Valley with 20% Clare Valley, it captures the precision, perfume and purity of two of South Australia's great Riesling regions.

Vintage & Winemaking

The 2026 vintage began four weeks later than 2025, following delayed flowering, slow ripening and careful vineyard management. Although almost 90mm of rain fell in 48 hours shortly after harvest began, quick work from growers and the winery preserved fruit quality, producing Rieslings of purity, elegance and poise.

No.10 was first created in 2017 to celebrate John and Belinda Hughes' wedding and is now made only in tiny quantities from the best vintages. The 2026 release is sourced from selected sites across the Kosi & Kiwi Vineyards in Flaxman Valley, Eden Valley, and the Sandow Family vineyard in Watervale, Clare Valley.

Nose

Exquisitely perfumed with fresh lemon, kiwifruit, green apple and guava, lifted by spring blossom and talc.

Palate

Pure and pristine, with a soft, velvety texture wrapped around a core of crackling acidity.

Finish

Crisp, persistent and finely balanced, showing the harmony of Clare Valley texture and Eden Valley precision.

Pairs well with white fish, insalata tricolore, pizza bianco, chicken salad and Mimolette.
