Overview
Serrat Pinot Noir 2025 is a Yarra Valley Pinot Noir from Victoria, Australia, sourced predominantly from the MV6 clone with newer plantings of 828, 943 and Pommard.
The 2025 release shows the concentration and structure of the vintage, combining fragrant red fruit, spice and floral detail with serious extract and fine tannic depth.
Vintage & Winemaking
The 2025 season was mild in spring, with good rainfall and soil moisture leading into one of the calmest flowering periods of recent years. Summer was warm, fine and exceptionally long, with no extreme heat and ideal ripening conditions.
Serrat included around 30% whole bunch in the ferments in 2025, giving the wine a punchy and fragrant aromatic profile. The wine was aged on lees for 11 months in 500 litre French oak puncheons from Tonnellerie de Mercurey, 30% new, using a mix of Tronçais and Pierre selections.

“A medium-bright crimson ruby. In contrast to the more delicate, fragrant Nenagh Park Pinot, Serrat's home block has produced a wine with aromas of black cherry, blood orange, rosebush and graphite.”
