Overview
The 2025 E.J. McDougall Chardonnay is a Margaret River white wine from the Wallcliff sub-region, shaped by sandy loam and clay over limestone soils. Hand-harvested fruit, in-barrel fermentation and light bâtonnage give this Chardonnay both precision and texture, with the natural depth expected from Margaret River Chardonnay.
Vintage & Winemaking
The fruit was hand-harvested from Margaret River’s Wallcliff sub-region. Fermentation took place in barrel, followed by 10 months of élevage. The élevage selection included 46% new French oak, using medium-toast, tight-grain French barriques.
