The 2025 Ashton Hills Gamay is a vibrant and aromatic cool-climate red from the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills.

Best known for its benchmark Pinot Noir, Ashton Hills also produces a distinctive expression of Gamay that reflects the estate’s cool, elevated vineyard site. The wine combines bright fruit, freshness and savoury detail in a light and highly drinkable style.

The 2025 vintage shows lifted aromas of raspberry, red cherry, cranberry and wild strawberry, complemented by violet, subtle herbs and gentle spice.

The palate is juicy and energetic, with fresh red berry fruit, lively acidity and soft, fine tannins. Floral and savoury notes add complexity, while the finish remains bright, refreshing and beautifully balanced.

Delicious served slightly chilled, this is an excellent choice for warmer weather and lighter dishes, while still offering enough complexity for serious wine drinkers.
