The 2024 Torbreck The Struie is a classic Barossa Shiraz combining the richness and concentration of Barossa Valley fruit with the fragrance, freshness and structure associated with the higher-altitude Eden Valley.

Deep and powerful, the wine displays blackberry, black plum and dark cherry alongside violet, liquorice, dark chocolate, black pepper and savoury spice. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with layers of ripe dark fruit supported by polished tannins and fresh acidity, leading to a long and structured finish.

The Struie has established itself as one of Torbreck’s signature Shiraz releases, offering the generosity expected from Barossa while retaining impressive balance and ageing potential.

Presented in the spectacular 6-litre Imperial format and housed in its Original Timber Case (OTC), this release is particularly suited to serious collectors, long-term cellaring, milestone celebrations and luxury gifting. The exceptionally large bottle format also allows for slower and more gradual development compared with standard 750ml bottles.
