The 2024 Torbreck The Struie is a classic Barossa Shiraz combining the richness and power of the Barossa Valley with the fragrance, freshness and structure associated with higher-altitude Eden Valley fruit.

Deep and concentrated, the wine shows generous blackberry, black plum and dark cherry characters layered with violet, liquorice, dark chocolate, black pepper and savoury spice. The palate is full-bodied and richly textured, with concentrated dark fruit framed by firm yet polished tannins and refreshing acidity.

The Struie is renowned for balancing Barossa generosity with elegance and structure, making it particularly well suited to extended bottle ageing.

Presented here in the impressive 3-litre Double Magnum format, the 2024 release offers additional appeal for collectors and special occasions. Large-format bottles generally provide slower, more gradual maturation, making this an excellent option for long-term cellaring.
