95/100 â Sam Kim, Wine Orbit ¡ 2024 Vintage
âGorgeously fruited and finely scented, the inviting bouquet shows dark plum, cherry, violet, dried herb, and mixed spice aromas. The palate displays excellent weight and silky flow, wonderfully framed by fleshy texture and finely infused tannins, making it structured and harmonious with a sustained, satisfying finish.â
94/100 â Erin Larkin, Robert Parker Wine Advocate ¡ 2024 Vintage
ââŚFleshy and ripe yet spacious and fresh. It has cherry seed, cranberry, pomegranate, star anise, pink peppercorn and a hint of chinottoâwhich, rightly or wrongly, I attribute to the whole-bunch component. Regardless, the wine is complex and balanced.â
About This Wine
Pinot Noir from Tamar Valley, Tasmania, sourced from an ACO certified organic vineyard.
Warm and dry conditions over the 2024 growing season led to an early and compact vintage, with fruit harvested over a short two-week period in mid-March.
The grapes were chilled and sorted into open-top tanks for fermentation, with a three-day cold soak prior to fermentation. The wine was handled gently and remained on skins for 14 days before pressing. Malolactic fermentation occurred in oak, followed by 10 months maturation prior to blending and bottling.
Producer Notes
Herbal note, limpid fruit, generous weight, poised finish. Hand-picked and hand-sorted. A class act. Delicately red fruited with fine-boned structure, grace and texture, finishing with tension and energy.
