The 2024 Château de Beaucastel Roussanne Vieilles Vignes is one of the Southern Rhône’s most prestigious and distinctive white wines. Produced exclusively from old-vine Roussanne, it represents the pinnacle of white-wine production at Château de Beaucastel.

Sourced from very old Roussanne vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this rare cuvée combines remarkable concentration and texture with freshness, complexity and exceptional ageing potential.

The 2024 vintage offers an expressive bouquet of white peach, apricot, ripe pear and citrus, layered with honeysuckle, white flowers, honey and subtle spice. With air, more complex notes of almond, herbs and mineral character emerge.

The palate is rich and expansive yet beautifully balanced, with concentrated stone fruit and citrus supported by freshness and a fine mineral structure. Its generous texture is complemented by notes of spice, almond and floral complexity, leading to an exceptionally long and persistent finish.

Roussanne Vieilles Vignes is particularly renowned for its ability to evolve in bottle. With age, its youthful stone-fruit and floral characters can develop into honey, beeswax, toasted nuts, dried herbs and complex savoury notes.
