2024 Bowen Estate Coonawarra Shiraz 750ml
The 2024 Bowen Estate Shiraz is a powerful yet beautifully balanced expression of Coonawarra Shiraz, combining generous dark fruit, savoury complexity and fine-grained tannins.
Deep purple-red in colour, the wine bursts with ripe plum, blackberry and dark cherry, complemented by freshly crushed black pepper, warm spices, dried meats and subtle earthy notes. Quality oak adds further depth without overwhelming the fruit.
The palate is full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with concentrated dark berry fruit and hints of chocolate and spice. Supple, fine-grained tannins provide structure, while impressive balance and a long, persistent finish keep the wine composed despite its considerable depth and power.
The 2024 vintage marks Bowen Estate’s 50th anniversary and has produced a particularly strong Shiraz with both immediate appeal and excellent cellaring potential.
