Overview
A refined estate-grown Meursault from Benjamin Leroux, bringing together several of his own parcels across the appellation. The 2024 combines the natural generosity of Meursault with freshness, mineral tension and precise acidity, resulting in a finely balanced Chardonnay with both immediate appeal and the structure to develop further in bottle.
Vineyard
The wine is based on Lerouxâs own vines in Moulin Landin, Les Criots, Bois de Blagny and Les Millerands, together with Clos du Village, a parcel acquired in 2017. The higher-elevation Bois de Blagny contributes freshness and mineral drive to the broader fruit from the lower-lying sites.
The vineyards are certified organic and biodynamically managed, with some vines dating back to 1944.
Winemaking
Fermentation and maturation take place in 300-litre and 600-litre barrels. The wine is then racked to larger foudre and stainless steel to complete its ageing, allowing texture and concentration to develop without masking the character of the vineyards.

âThe Meursault blend has a really refined nose, and is fine boned on the palate with just the right generosity of fruit. Balanced ripeness, balanced acidity and then just an extra little kick of concentration.â

Producer
Born in Beaune, Benjamin Leroux began studying at the LycĂŠe Viticole at the age of 14 before completing his national oenology degree and gaining experience in New Zealand, Oregon and Bordeaux. At 24 he became manager of Domaine Comte Armand in Pommard, where over 15 vintages he introduced organic and later biodynamic viticulture.
Leroux established his own project in 2007, building a portfolio across the CĂ´te dâOr with a focus on careful farming, healthy soils and precise expression of terroir. In the cellar, each parcel and vintage receives an individual approach, with ageing vessels selected to preserve purity, balance and the identity of each site.
