Made by Radford Dale's The Winery of Good Hope, it focuses on elegance, fruit purity and drinkability rather than the heavy, rustic style sometimes associated with the variety.

Vintage & Winemaking

Fruit comes from two vineyards: one in Northern Stellenbosch and one in Voor Paardeberg, both approaching 21 years of age. The grapes were destemmed but not crushed, then gravity-fed into stainless steel tanks to keep the berries whole. Spontaneous wild fermentation occurred inside the intact berries, creating a carbonic-style fermentation that protects freshness, softens tannin and highlights Pinotage's cherry fruit, spice and juicy texture.
