The fruit is sourced exclusively from the historic MMAD Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, home to dry-grown bush vines planted in the 1930s. Deep sandy soils over ironstone and clay, combined with the cooling influence of elevation, produce Grenache with exceptional aromatic lift, fine tannin structure, and natural freshness. The outstanding 2023 vintage delivered fruit of remarkable balance, concentration, and precision.
Winemaking follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, allowing the vineyard to speak clearly. Hand-harvested fruit underwent gentle fermentation with a carefully judged proportion of whole bunches to enhance perfume, spice, and structural complexity.
