The 2023 Domaine Jacques Cacheux Les Plantes Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru is a small-production Premier Cru Burgundy from a traditional Vosne-Romanée family domaine. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it brings together the elegance of Chambolle-Musigny with the Cacheux style of full destemming, natural fermentation and wines of flavour, intensity and enduring character.

Vintage & Winemaking

Domaine Jacques Cacheux works without herbicides, insecticides or anti-rot treatments in the vineyard. In the cellar, grapes are fully destemmed, followed by around one week of cold maceration before fermentation with natural yeasts. Premier Cru cuvées are generally matured in 100% new oak and bottled without fining or filtration.

About Domaine Jacques Cacheux

Domaine Jacques Cacheux et Fils is a small Vosne-Romanée producer farming 7 hectares across some of the Côte de Nuits’ most respected sites. Family holdings include Echezeaux Grand Cru, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Suchots, the rare La Croix Rameau Premier Cru beside Romanée-Saint-Vivant, and several village lieux-dits including Les Chalandins, Les Ormes, Aux Réas and Les Raviolles.

The domaine is now run by Pascal Cacheux. The wines are fully destemmed, cold macerated for around one week, fermented with natural yeasts and bottled without fining or filtration, producing Burgundy with flavour, intensity and enduring character.
