Overview
The 2023 Domaine Jacques Cacheux Echezeaux Grand Cru is a small-production Grand Cru Burgundy from one of Vosne-Romanée’s quiet, traditional family domaines. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it reflects the depth, spice and structure of the Côte de Nuits, with the Cacheux style favouring full destemming, natural fermentation and wines of flavour, intensity and enduring character.
Vintage & Winemaking
Domaine Jacques Cacheux works without herbicides, insecticides or anti-rot treatments in the vineyard. In the cellar, grapes are fully destemmed, followed by around one week of cold maceration before fermentation with natural yeasts. Grand Cru cuvées are generally matured in 100% new oak and bottled without fining or filtration.

Tasting Notes
A structured and savoury Grand Cru Pinot Noir, expected to show the dark red fruit, spice, earth, floral lift and fine tannin detail associated with Echezeaux and Vosne-Romanée. The style is concentrated and characterful, with enough depth for medium-term cellaring.
Food Pairing
Pair with roast duck, pigeon, veal escalope, game birds, mushroom dishes, truffle pasta, or Comté.
Cellaring Potential
Best from 2028, with a suggested drinking window to 2038.
