The 2023 Clarendon Hills Astralis Syrah 750ml is a single-vineyard red from Blewitt Springs in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Crafted by Roman Bratasiuk, Astralis is the flagship wine of Clarendon Hills.

The cool 2023 growing season brought a late harvest. The winery describes fruit with preserved acidity and floral aromas, giving this release a particularly detailed expression.

Hand-picked Syrah underwent wild-yeast fermentation before 18 months in French oak. The wine was bottled at the estate without fining or filtration.

Reviews published by the winery describe dark berry fruit, savoury spice and fine tannins. This is a release shaped by freshness and precision alongside the depth associated with Astralis.

Presented in 750ml, the 2023 vintage offers a focused expression of this McLaren Vale vineyard.
