The “White Stones” parcel is defined by limestone-rich soils covered with white stones that reflect sunlight and contribute extraordinary tension, salinity, and finesse. Located nearly 1,500 metres above sea level in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, Adrianna Vineyard benefits from cool nights and intense mountain sunlight, producing Chardonnay with exceptional concentration and natural acidity.
The 2023 vintage delivered outstanding freshness and aromatic detail. Fruit was hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before fermentation in French oak barrels with extended lees ageing to build texture and depth while maintaining focus on terroir expression.
The wine reveals lifted aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, white peach, and citrus blossom intertwined with notes of wet stone, oyster shell, flint, and delicate white flowers. The palate is vibrant yet layered, balancing crystalline citrus fruit with fine texture, bright acidity, and pronounced mineral tension. The finish is exceptionally long, saline, and precise.
Still youthful and tightly structured, the 2023 White Stones Chardonnay will reward extended cellaring over 10–20+ years, evolving further savoury complexity and refinement with age.
