The 2022 Wirra Wirra RSW Shiraz is a premium McLaren Vale Shiraz combining impressive concentration, savoury complexity and excellent ageing potential.

Deep inky purple in colour, the wine opens with aromas of dark plum, mocha and nutmeg, layered with subtle charcuterie notes. The palate is plush and generous, showing mulberry compote, dark berries, sweet baking spices and dark chocolate, with fresh fruit and savoury characters seamlessly integrated.

The 2022 vintage has impressive structure beneath its richness. Black tea, dried violet, dried olive, liquorice, dark earth and subtle leather add complexity, while firm, gravelly tannins provide definition and excellent potential for further development in bottle.

A powerful yet refined expression of McLaren Vale Shiraz, the 2022 RSW has received strong critical recognition, including 96 points from Halliday Wine Companion and a Gold Medal with 96 points at the 2025 McLaren Vale Wine Show.
