About This Wine
Millebuis is the true essence of the multifaceted terroirs of the CĂ´te Chalonnaise. Montagny is one of the historic villages at the heart of Bourgogne, and the wines are crafted to faithfully express the character of its Premier Cru terroirs.
Chardonnay, the emblematic variety of great white Bourgogne wines, is selected from Premier Cru vineyards growing on limestone-marl hillsides that receive the early morning sun, contributing the distinctive minerality of the appellation.
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness before pneumatic pressing. The must undergoes measured settling, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Maturation takes place in both stainless steel vats and barrels, with bottling at the optimum moment followed by a resting period before release.
Producer Notes
This luminous golden Bourgogne reveals aromas of white flowers accompanied by a touch of menthol. Expansive in the mouth it offers rich, complex nuances of honey, almond and hazelnut. A very pure expression of Chardonnay.
