Vineyard
The fruit for the 2022 Pinot Noir is sourced from select parcels within Luna’s Te Muna and Martinborough vineyards. These sites feature ancient gravel terraces and limestone-influenced soils, ideal for producing Pinot Noir with lifted aromatics and fine tannin structure. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction, followed by maturation in French oak barrels to preserve texture and detail.
Vintage
The 2022 vintage in Martinborough was defined by a cool, even season with long ripening periods. This provided fruit of excellent natural acidity, delicate perfume, and precise structure — a vintage favouring elegance and aromatic clarity.
