The 2022 Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz is a benchmark single-vineyard Shiraz from Eden Valley, crafted from one of Australia’s oldest continuously producing vineyards. Produced by Henschke, Mount Edelstone is sourced from vines planted in 1912, delivering a wine of remarkable pedigree, finesse, and longevity.

Located at elevation in Eden Valley, the Mount Edelstone vineyard benefits from a cooler climate and ancient, well-drained soils, resulting in naturally low yields, vibrant acidity, and finely structured tannins. The 2022 vintage produced fruit of excellent balance and purity, capturing both concentration and elegance.

In the winery, fruit was hand-harvested and gently fermented to preserve aromatic detail and texture. The wine was matured in French oak hogsheads, including a portion of new oak, for an extended period, allowing for seamless integration of spice and structure while maintaining the clarity of the vineyard expression.
