Overview

The 2021 First Drop Fat of the Land Greenock Single Vineyard Shiraz is a powerful western Barossa Shiraz from one of the region's most distinctive sub-regions. Full-bodied, dark-fruited and mineral-edged, it captures the depth and intensity of Greenock while retaining the polished, drinkable energy First Drop is known for.

Vintage & Winemaking

The Fat of the Land series is dedicated to highlighting the distinct sub-regions of the Barossa Valley and the contrasting Shiraz expressions that emerge from this historic region. The 2021 Greenock release is a single vineyard Shiraz from western Barossa, built around concentration, savoury spice and compact tannin structure.

Greenock is known for producing deeply flavoured Shiraz with dark fruit intensity, spice and firm tannin architecture. This 2021 release shows the power of the site through glass-staining fruit, mineral cadence and long ageing potential.
