Region and Winemaking

Hailing from Central Otago’s renowned Bannockburn sub-region, the 2021 Dicey Chardonnay reflects the clarity and precision of its exceptional site. Grapes are sourced from the Inlet Vineyard and picked in two passes to maximise ripeness and character. Wild yeast fermentation and 11 months of aging in French oak (16 percent new) contribute complexity and texture. The wine is bottled unfined and lightly filtered to retain its natural purity.

Nose: Expressive aromas of white peach, lemon curd, brioche, and delicate nutty oak

Palate: Fresh and textural with flavours of stone fruit, citrus, and crushed minerals. Fine acidity and subtle lees-derived texture add elegance and length to the finish.
