"This shares similar DNA to the estate cabernet and that means elegance, but this just has the X-factor, so important for a Reserve. Here it has a bit more flavour and depth, albeit in a finely tuned offering. There are waves of flavour: red and black currants, fennel and fresh tobacco with cedary oak, all rolled into a harmonious whole. Tannins are lovely, fine yet ripe. Acidity brings a freshness to a lovely wine. Alas, a paltry 30 dozen made."
