The 2018 Castagna Un Segreto is a biodynamic blend of Sangiovese and Syrah, crafted in Beechworth with elegance and finesse. Julian Castagna’s careful attention to vineyard and cellar has produced a wine of great purity, balance, and individuality.

The nose opens with vibrant red cherry, plum, and cranberry, layered with rose petal, spice, and earthy mineral nuances. On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet expressive, with juicy red fruits, savoury herbal undertones, and subtle hints of leather and olive. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity provide structure, leading to a long, graceful finish.
