“Medium to full ruby colour with a slight purple tinge and showing some early development. The bouquet is red-fruited and earthy, mellow and forward, with an old-fashioned feel to it and a certain lack of modern red-wine polish and brightness. The wine is medium to full-bodied and savoury in the mouth, softly-textured, with ample fine tannins and a clean, dry finish. It's showing some early development and is attractively mellow and earthy. A very tasty red that is drinking well right now.”
