About This Wine

Les Caillerets is a Volnay Premier Cru vineyard located in Volnay, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy.

The Vaudoisey family settled in Volnay in 1804 and has dedicated itself to vine growing and winemaking for more than 200 years.

Today, Christophe and Pierre Vaudoisey lead the estate, continuing a family tradition passed down through generations.

The estate cultivates vineyards across Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Monthélie.

The estate is managed using sustainable farming practices. Vineyard work includes pruning, ploughing, treatments, bud thinning, trellising and trimming. Green harvesting is practiced on most plots to help control yields.

Red grape harvesting takes place at the end of September and beginning of October and is carried out entirely by hand.

About the Producer

The estate is operated according to values of respect, humility and authenticity.

Drawing on winemaking expertise passed down from father to son, Christophe Vaudoisey devotes his attention to showcasing the terroirs of Burgundy.
