Overview

Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault Clos du Cromin 'Le Pré de Manche' is a terroir-driven white Burgundy from one of Meursault's most sought-after modern domaines. The estate, run by Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin, is known for focused, age-worthy Chardonnay shaped by organic farming, biodynamic principles and patient cellar work.

Clos du Cromin "Le Pré de Manche" comes from a south and south-east facing site, giving the wine a clear aromatic identity and expressive Meursault character.

Vineyard & Terroir

The vineyard has a southerly and south-easterly aspect, with clay and pebble soils. This combination supports a distinct aromatic profile, combining ripe Chardonnay fruit with mineral tension and structural depth.

Vintage

After several low-yielding years in the Côte de Beaune, 2017 delivered a more generous crop. Growers were well prepared for frost risk and avoided major damage, while the warm growing season supported healthy ripening. Harvest in Meursault began on 28 August.

Style

The 2017 vintage produced premium white Burgundies with ripe fruit, balance and excellent cellaring capacity. This is a refined, expressive Meursault with the depth and texture expected from Bernard-Bonin, while retaining freshness and precision.
