About This Wine

Springflat Shiraz is the original flagship wine of Wild Duck Creek Estate, produced from multiple estate-grown vineyards across the Heathcote region, spanning diverse soil types including volcanic, granite and quartz-rich clays.

Each parcel is vinified separately and kept apart until final blending, allowing the wine to reflect the richness and depth of the region.

Producer Notes

Springflat Shiraz is a blend of distinct estate-grown vineyards in Heathcote. Parcels are fermented separately with some whole bunch inclusion, hand plunged and basket pressed before maturation in French and American oak hogsheads (40% new) for up to 22 months.
