The 2004 Wendouree Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark Clare Valley release from one of Australia’s most revered and traditional producers. Crafted from low-yielding, century-old dry-grown vines, it epitomises the depth, structure, and longevity for which Wendouree is renowned.

The bouquet opens with concentrated blackcurrant, dark cherry, and mulberry, seamlessly layered with cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite, and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it is firm, precise, and beautifully proportioned, with dense cassis fruit supported by fine yet powerful tannins. The finish is long and savoury, showing both elegance and persistence.

Serving & Cellaring
