The 2003 Wendouree Cabernet Malbec is a distinctive blend from one of Australia’s most revered heritage wineries. Sourced from dry-grown, low-yielding vines planted in the Clare Valley, this wine combines Wendouree’s hallmark intensity with vintage-specific elegance.

The blend features a significant portion of Cabernet Sauvignon balanced by Malbec, offering a robust yet finely structured expression. The nose is deeply aromatic, showing blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar, dried herbs, tobacco leaf, and a hint of graphite. On the palate, firm tannins frame flavours of cassis, plum, and savoury earth, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and gentle oak integration.
