The 2003 E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Turque is one of the most celebrated single-vineyard Syrahs from France’s Northern Rhône Valley. Sourced from the Côte Brune slope, this wine epitomizes power, depth, and precision. Co-fermented with a touch of Viognier, La Turque is known for its bold structure and expressive aromatics.

The 2003 vintage, marked by a hot growing season, yielded a wine of exceptional concentration and ripeness. After 42 months in 100% new French oak, it delivers a deeply layered bouquet of black cherries, cassis, smoked meat, espresso, cedar, dark chocolate, and violet. The palate is full-bodied and dense, offering rich black fruit, graphite, exotic spice, and a signature note of roasted herbs and bacon fat.
