A cool spring gave way to a long, hot and dry summer. The dry conditions helped keep rot and disease at bay while a touch of rain at the end of the growing season relieved dehydrated ground

Colour: Garnet with bricking edges, showing graceful age.

Nose: Aromas of dried plum, mulberry, earthy spice, leather, and hints of cedar and tobacco.

Palate: Medium-bodied with integrated tannins, flavours of stewed red fruits, dark chocolate, pepper, and savoury oak. Mature and soft, with balance and length that reflect careful cellaring and quality fruit.

Cellaring and Condition

This wine is fully mature and drinking at its peak. It offers a refined experience for collectors and fans of classic Hunter Valley Shiraz.
