The Glendronach 200th Anniversary Edition 14 Year Old is a remarkable limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky, created to celebrate 200 years of the historic Glendronach Distillery. Crafted by acclaimed Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie, this exclusive anniversary release pays tribute to the distillery's legendary sherry-matured whiskies of the 1980s and 1990s.

Aged for 14 years, the whisky brings together the richness of traditional Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks with a carefully selected parcel of Claret red wine casks. This combination adds layers of dark berries, ripe orchard fruit and luxurious sweetness to Glendronach's signature full-bodied malt character.

Bottled at 46.8% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring, this exceptional expression offers an indulgent balance of dried fruits, chocolate caramel, roasted nuts and elegant oak. Released in October 2026, it is a one-off commemorative bottling, officially available in Australia exclusively through The Whisky Club.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Rich copper.

Nose: A generous combination of ripe stone fruits, bramble berries, toasted hazelnuts, raisins and sweet toffee.

Palate: Rich, rounded malt with luscious dried fruits, velvety chocolate caramel and juicy blackcurrants.

Finish: Orchard fruit notes bring a fruity conclusion to the rich, sherried palate.
