Following in Lark’s footsteps by securing the coveted “World's Best Other Single Malt” award, Pōkeno are back with a new exclusive Pōkeno; a 1-of-1 batch made to be the best winter warmer on your whisky shelf.
Created with Pōkeno's richest casks and bottled at a lush 48.2% ABV, the flavour will thaw your cold winter bones: layers of dark butterscotch, spiced brioche French toast, toasted cinnamon, dark cherry and syrupy stewed plum.
This is a one-off marriage of Pōkeno's richest first-fill casks – ex-Sherries, ex-Bourbon and toasted, caramelised virgin oak – expertly bottled with no chill filtration or added colour for a beautifully balanced, weighty winter dram.

Food Match: Fresh and zesty marinated goat cheese balances the whisky’s nuttiness and orange toffee notes, enhancing the finish with a fruit-driven creaminess and accentuating the Amontillado cask notes
Pōkeno Whisky Company, founded in 2017 by Matt and Céline Johns, aims to put Aotearoa New Zealand on the map for world-class single malts. Situated in Pōkeno, south of Auckland, the distillery leverages pure spring water, locally sourced barley, and a commitment to quality over quantity. Head Distiller Rohan McGowan’s slow fermentation and double distillation process results in a rich, fruity spirit with a malty base. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and an in-house cooperage, Pōkeno produces whisky matured in ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and local red wine casks, establishing itself as New Zealand’s largest whisky distillery.
