Mount Henry is Mount Pleasant's distinctive Hunter Valley blend of Shiraz and Pinot Noir, combining two varieties with a long history at the Pokolbin estate. The 2025 release continues this Australian interpretation of a once-traditional blend, bringing Shiraz together with Pinot Noir from a producer whose historic vineyard holdings include some of Australia's oldest Pinot Noir plantings.

Producer

Mount Pleasant was established in Pokolbin in 1921 by Maurice O'Shea, one of the defining figures of Australian wine. Located on the slopes of the Brokenback Range in the Hunter Valley, the estate is particularly renowned for its historic vineyards and its long association with Shiraz. Its Estate Vineyard also includes some of Australia's oldest Pinot Noir plantings, giving the combination of these two varieties particular relevance within Mount Pleasant's heritage.
