Overview

Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault Les Tillets is a finely drawn white Burgundy from a hillside plot located just above the renowned Gouttes d'Or and Poruzots Premier Cru sites. Known for tension, minerality and precision, Les Tillets captures the more lifted and mineral side of Meursault.

Domaine Bernard-Bonin, based in Meursault, is one of Burgundy's most sought-after Chardonnay producers. Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin work with organic and biodynamic principles, producing white wines with purity, texture and long-term ageing potential.

Vineyard & Terroir

Les Tillets has a mostly easterly aspect with a slight southerly orientation. The soils are composed of stone, chalk, limestone and flint, contributing to the wine's mineral drive, freshness and structural clarity.

Vintage

After several low-yielding years in the Côte de Beaune, 2017 delivered a more generous crop. Growers were prepared for early frosts and avoided damage, while a warm growing season supported healthy ripening. Harvest began in Meursault on 28 August.

Style

The 2017 vintage produced premium white Burgundies with ripe fruit, balance and excellent cellaring capacity. Les Tillets brings together ripe Chardonnay fruit, chalky tension and a precise mineral finish.
