About This Wine
Premier Cru Pinot Noir from Aux Malconsorts in Vosne-Romanée. Grapes are vinified with little or no destemming depending on vintage, using only indigenous yeasts. Fermentation lasts about two weeks with light punching down at the start and pumping over later for gentle extraction. Wines are lightly pressed and transferred by gravity. Ageing takes place for 14 to 18 months in oak barrels, with a significant proportion of new wood.
About the Winery
Domaine Dujac was founded by Jacques Seysses and is known for whole-cluster fermentation, indigenous yeasts and élevage focused on refined tannin texture. The domaine has long-standing experience working across the Côte de Nuits with an emphasis on balance and purity of expression.
