The 2016 vintage of d’Arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz is a powerful and iconic McLaren Vale red. Sourced from old, low-yielding vines affected by Eutypa (the “dead arm” disease), this wine delivers exceptional intensity and complexity.

The bouquet opens with lifted aromas of blackberry, plum, dark cherry, and mulberry, layered with hints of mocha, smoked meats, dried herbs, and earthy spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with dense dark fruit flavours wrapped in firm tannins and savoury undertones of pepper, leather, and game.
