Crafted from low-yielding old vines in McLaren Vale, the 1999 d’Arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz showcases the winery’s hallmark intensity and balance. The wine opens with a deep, dark garnet hue and aromas of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, and earthy spice. On the palate, it delivers powerful concentration—ripe black fruits layered with licorice, coffee, tobacco, and a subtle savoury edge. Time in bottle has softened its tannins, offering a complex, silky texture with persistent length. Aged in a mix of new and old French and American oak, this vintage continues to evolve gracefully.

Serving & Cellaring:
