Deep Purple hues. Black and blueberry aromas with fennel spice and charcuterie. The palate elegant and plush with more dark fruit and spice. Medium bodies weight and fine tannin structure.

Lifted aromas of blue fruits with florals and classic Mount Barker spice. Medium bodied but dense with fine ripe tannin and well-balanced natural acidity.

The fruit was machine picked then destemmed/crushed into 8-tonne open fermenters and inoculated. The fermenters were pumped over with aeration twice a day; temperature was held around 25°C. The wine was then pressed to barrel for its Malo-lactic fermentation, allowing a soft integration of the grape and oak tannins. The wine was blended, fined with egg whites and bottled after 18 months maturation. The wine is further aged in bottle before release
